National Productivity and Quality Convention 2019 NEF won the Bronze Award The National Empowerment Foundation (NEF) has been ranked third, winning the Bronze Award, at the National Productivity and Quality Convention (NPQC) 2019 organised by the National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC). One of the objectives of this competition is to allow public and private institutions to share their best operational practices and initiatives. The theme was “Enabling people for self and organizational effectiveness for better service delivery”. The project was based on how people – staff and clients - have been put at the forefront in order to increase productivity and effectiveness in service delivery through “Restructure of NEF, Case Management Approach and IMIS & Mobile Platform”. During the Convention on 28 and 29 May 2019 at the Ravenala Hotel, Balaclava, over 100 projects related to productivity and quality improvement were presented in three different categories, namely: Small & Medium private enterprises including micro enterprises, Large private enterprises, and Government Bodies/Parastatals/Registered Associations.
